Vilhelm Blomgren stars as a M\u00f6llan guy whose tired relationship gets an unexpected spark in this romantic comedy, produced by Anagram and distributed in the Nordic region by NonStop Entertainment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"736\">Sasja and Olivia have stagnated\u2014both as individuals and as a couple. Sasja is bored at his job as a health inspector. Olivia\u2019s dreams of becoming an artist are going nowhere. But when Sasja starts an affair, something unexpected happens. <em data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"676\">The Greenest Grass<\/em> is a romantic comedy about painting yourself into a corner.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"1117\">Filming kicked off this week in the M\u00f6llan neighborhood of Malm\u00f6 for Kim Sundbeck\u2019s rom-com debut <em data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"856\">The Greenest Grass<\/em>. The cast includes Vilhelm Blomgren (<em data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"901\">G\u00f6sta<\/em>, <em data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"914\">Midsommar<\/em>, <em data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"923\">Clark<\/em>), Anna Asp (<em data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"942\">Beck<\/em> films), Maria Nohra (<em data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"971\">Ronja<\/em>, <em data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1003\">LasseMaja\u2019s Detective Agency<\/em>, <em data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1022\">Tack och f\u00f6rl\u00e5t<\/em>), Ia Langhammer (<em data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1058\">Hela h\u00e4rligheten<\/em>, <em data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1077\">Tack och f\u00f6rl\u00e5t<\/em>), and Cedomir Glisovic (<em data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1115\">I Am Zlatan<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1364\">\u201c<em data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1140\">The Greenest Grass<\/em> features messy characters in messy settings trying to act logically, but ending up in messy situations. It\u2019s going to be both funny and relatable for all of us who fail, despite good intentions,\u201d says director Kim Sundbeck.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1663\">\u201cWe want to capture both the chaos and the warmth of Malm\u00f6 during a time when the city shows itself at its best. In Kim Sundbeck\u2019s hands, and with the proven comedic timing of Vilhelm Blomgren and Anna Asp, it was love at first sight for us as a distributor,\u201d says Jakob Abrahamsson, CEO of NonStop Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2485\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><em data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"1991\">The Greenest Grass<\/em> is written and directed by Kim Sundbeck and produced by Ann Lundberg at Anagram\u2014the production company founded by <em data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2118\">Hipp Hipp!<\/em> duo Anders Jansson and Johan Wester, known for titles like <em data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2190\">Starke Man<\/em>, <em data-start=\"2192\" data-end=\"2207\">Eat Sleep Die<\/em>, <em data-start=\"2209\" data-end=\"2223\">Tuesday Club<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2245\">Thin Blue Line<\/em>. The film is co-produced by Film i Sk\u00e5ne, SVT, and NonStop Winning Formula, with support from the Swedish Film Institute\/Moving Sweden.
