About the movie

Set in 1976 Madrid, a family with financial struggles makes the controversial choice of moving from their small village to a new apartment in the city to start a new life and live out their dreams. Even though the Olmedo family is struggling with money, they are determined to make it work. Unaware of the paranormal events that occurred in the apartment before they moved in, their new dream home sooner than later turns into the worst of their nightmares.
Inspired by real events of the neighborhood Malasaña in Madrid, Malasaña 32 is directed by the Catalan filmmaker Albert Pintó and reinterprets Spanish haunted house horror films.
