Jae-ho, who aims to become the number one in a crime organization, gets to build up trust with Hyun-su, an ambitious newbie in the prison. While they try to take over the organization after the prison release, though unbeknown to Jae-ho, Hyun-su is an undercover cop, now finding himself with his loyalties torn.
THE MERCILESS is a fast-paced, hard-edged story of an undercover cop and mobster's Trust and Betrayal. It draws on the success of modern day Asian crime-thrillers such as Infernal Affairs and Oldboy, with its rawness and unexpected twists and turns, keeping viewers constantly on the edge of their seat.
