About the movie

Aaron, a young misfit living in a remote Scottish fishing community, is the lone survivor of a strange fishing accident that claimed the lives of five men including his older brother. Spurred on by sea-going folklore and local superstition, the village blames Aaron for this tragedy, making him an outcast amongst his own people. Steadfastly refusing to believe that his brother has died, he sets out to recover him and the rest of the men.
For Those In Peril is directed by Paul Wright and features George MacKa (How I Live Now), Michael Smiley (Kill List, A field in England), Nichola Burley (Wuthering Heights). Produced by Warp Films (This is England, Dead Man’s Shoes, Tyrannosaur, Four Lions, Submarine). Winner of Best Debut Director at the British Independent Film Awards and winner of Best Film, Best Feature Film, Best Actor as well as Best Actor/Actress - Film at BAFTA Scotland. Nominated for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer at the 2014 BAFTA Awards.
