Comedy, Drama
Set in the early 80s the film centres on Dom, an aspiring teenager with a fast mouth and sense of humour. Drawn into the evolving hooligan football culture by the charismatic top boy Bex, their Inter City firm soon clash with rival firms across the country. As violence between the gangs spirals out of control Dom then realizes he wants out, until he learns it’s not that easy to simply walk away.
Loosely adapted from Alan Clarke's 1989 classic TV film, Nick Love's (writer and director of Football Factory) film retells a similar story to the original, but from a different character's point of view. Set to a killer jazz funk 80s soundtrack The Firm is a humorous, heart warming classic coming of age story set amongst one of England’s most revered supporter tribes.
