About the movie

Alex (Vera Vitali) is caught in the street outside the grocery store, and brought to a subterranean facility, where people are imprisoned in the wait for their deportation. Viktoria (Pernilla August, “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”) is boss of the operations and she rules her crew with an iron fist. From the second that Alex sets her foot in the underground bunker, she is determined to escape at all costs.
Following her critically acclaimed feature debut ”She Monkeys”, Lisa Aschan is back with a highly relevant drama/thriller about hierarchies, power structures, and the vitality of life – “The White People”.
