Cold Copy is a dynamic thriller following the ambitious journalism student Mia Scott (Bel Powley) as she tries to impress the ruthless and influential news reporter Diane Heger (Tracee Ellis Ross), a host of The Night Report, in order to get a segment aired on the show. The two women push each other to their moral limits and in a quest to win over the esteemed senior journalist Mia starts manipulating the truth and twists the tragic story of an innocent teen.
