However, since his tragic death in 1989, the legend of Blaze has grown almost as big as the man himself.
Four times Academy Award Nominee Ethan Hawke brings this the enigmatic musical tale of outlaw country singer Blaze Foley to the big screen in a most affecting way. Lead Actor Ben Dickey was awarded with Sundance’s Special Jury Prize for his performance, and the movie was nominated for the Grand Jury Priz. Also starring are big names such as Kris Kristofferson, Sam Rockwell and director Richard Linklater.
