About the movie

Bob Muldoon and Ruth Guthrie, an impassioned young outlaw couple on an extended crime spree, are finally apprehended by lawmen after a shootout in the Texas hills. Although Ruth wounds a local officer, Bob takes the blame. But four years later, Bob escapes from prison and sets out to find Ruth and their daughter, born during his incarceration.
Acclaimed at Sundance 2013, “Ain´t them bodies saints” won the Cinematography Award (Director of Photography: Bradford Young) and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Screened in the Critics´ Week section at Cannes 2013. The film stars Academy Award-nominees Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Casey Affleck (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford), and multiple award-winner Ben Foster (3:10 To Yuma).
