Crime, Drama, Horror, Thriller
Jamie and Gal are old war-buddies living a double life. Jamie is in his early thirties and happily married to Shel and they have a six year old kid, Sam. Gal is middle-aged and a tad stocky and always on the lookout for his next young “footballer’s wife”. From the outside they look and act like successful salesmen, with a new station wagon, a beautiful house and expensive suits. But they are in fact hired killers with the car’s trunk full of machine guns and rocket launchers. In these times of economic distress even assassins can’t be picky when it comes to jobs. They go against their principles when they choose the next case and stumbles upon a string of snuff movies, satanic murders and a conspiracy that leads them all the way into the houses of parliament.
Kill List has been hailed by critics and audience alike as the best British thriller in years. Ben Wheatley’s debut feature, “Down Terrace”, was inter alia awarded the Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards 2009. “Kill List” is produced by Warp Films (This is England, Dead Man’s Shoes, Tyrannosaur, Four Lions, Submarine).
