In the not too distant future, two young sisters who live in a remote ancient forest discover the world around them is on the brink of an apocalypse. Informed only by rumor, they fight intruders, disease, loneliness & starvation.
Into the Forest is a mesmerizing and thought-provoking story of hope and despair set against a frighteningly plausible near-future America. Directed by Patricia Rozema (Mansfield Park, I've Heard the Mermaids Singing) and featuring stunning performances by Elliot Page (Inception, Juno, X-MEN: The Last Stand) and Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler, The Ides of March). Premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2015.
