Comedy, Horror, Thriller, Women directing
Gillian is an aspiring yet struggling filmmaker who is inspired to undertake a project based on a casual observation made by two friends: that she has all the personality elements that would make her an excellent murderer. Gillian realizes that the skill sets to make a film is the same to commit the perfect murder. Encouraged by her friends’ compliment on her personality traits and to prove herself, she starts to shoot a documentary on how to commit the perfect murder.
Written, directed and starring Gillian Wallace Horvat herself as a fictionalized version of herself, I Blame Society is a dark comedy-mockumentary where the lines between art and real life begin to blur when she tries to get away with murder in the film industry.
