About the movie

In the small town of Jackson, where dozens of people go missing without a trace every 23 years, there's a local myth of The Creeper; some say it's a human-sized bat, a vampire, a mysterious man in a hat and trench coat, a madman tailgating civilians in a rusted 1970's Dodge Van; or a terrifying monster that will not stop hunting humans for 23 days every 23rd Spring.
And with the 23rd Spring approaching, the myth grows stronger when the town announces a scare festival centering on the myth of The Creeper; their local "Bigfoot". Given their shared love of horror films and monsters, CHASE decides to take his girlfriend, LAINE, on a surprise trip to the festival where he plans to propose to her. However, when they win a Creeper-themed experience of a night in an escape room, they realize that the real Creeper actually lives there and it becomes the most terrifying reality. In a night of terror, the Creeper has his sights set on Laine, and won't stop until he gets her.
