Whose Streets? is the highly up-to-date documentary depicting the injustices of the African American community in the United States following the police brutality in Ferguson where Michael Brown were shot and killed by the police for walking the wrong way down the street. A movement started to form in the aftermath, following demonstrations and marches the documentary feature images shot from the streets with the people involved behind the camera, going more up close and personal than any news report.
A fascinating insider look on the ‘Black lives matter’ activists that depicts divisive racial moments in modern time USA. Directors Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis presents a portrait of anger and activism in a community tired of abuse from the law enforcement.
